ROS Let The Snow Combat Game Restarted in PRS

ROS decision fails to resolve PRS internal crisis

By Harun Jau, Eastern Time Press (Friday, 4th April 2008)

KUCHING: Larry Sng Wei Shien said yesterday that he had not been invited to attend a supreme council meeting of Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) called by Dato Sri Dr James Masing’s faction this coming Saturday.

“As far as I am concerned, I am not aware of the meeting this Saturday, neither do I know what the meeting is all about. I have not received any invitation to attend,” he said when contacted yesterday.

Asked if he would attend the meeting if invited, Larry, who is also Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department (Industrial Development), said he already had some other programmes that he planned to attend this Saturday.

Larry, who was named PRS president by the other faction, said that although he felt greatly relief that the Registrar of Societies (ROS) had decided at last not to deregister the party, the decision seemed to have not resolved the party’s internal crisis.
The letter from ROS did not clarify certain matters and the two factions seemed to have come up with their own interpretations.

“We need to have clarifications from ROS. Maybe the press can help find out for us,” Larry suggested.
According to him, clarifications from ROS on the matter were very important so that the party could move on.

“Hopefully, the ROS can clarify the matter to clear the air,” he added.
The letter from ROS on the decision not to deregister PRS was hand-delivered by ROS officers from Kuala Lumpur to Dato Sri Dr James Masing at his office in Petra Jaya at 10.00 am on Tuesday, while another letter of the same substance was delivered to the party’s registered headquarters at Green Height Commercial Centre at 11.00 am.
Both factions, however, seemed to have different interpretations of the letter from ROS.

mmmmm .... Larry Sng doesnt give up easily.

Better Larry joined PKR and established PKR base in Kapit or Song. Who knows Larry can become president of PKR Sarawak and let Masing be the president of PRS Sarawak.

Since SUPP, SNAP, PRS, PBB had failed to serve & help to improve the Dayak people in all areas, why not all of us Dayak be united under one roof of a multiracial party called PKR under the umbrella of Pakatan Rakyat. Time for a change. We are all tired & sick of the empty promises by all the 'puppet dayak' bn leaders.

It is a nightmare for the Dayak to be united under one party. Never in their mind to do so. if the Dayak are united under one party, Masing, Mawan and Jabu will bankrupt.
