Malaysia 2013 Budget

The Few, the Lot and The Many

A. Few things that make many people rejoice.

1. Bonus announcement for the government servants
2. Salary revision for government servants
3. Mega projects for opportunist
4. Financial allocation for Schools, Clinics and Hospitals

B. A lot of things that make few people wondering:

1. How to improve the education system with the increasing budget
2. How to reduce crime rate with new kind of salary
3. How to improve delivery service in government sectors
4. How to improve productivity to increase GDP
5. How to complete mega project without cheating tax-payers
6. How to achieve KPI,NKRA and GTP

C. Many things that make many people sad:

1. No improvement on minimum wages for private sectors
2. Increasing of GST (good and service tax)
3. Increasing tax of tobacco and liquor
4. Direct tender and cronyism of the mega project
5. EPF contributions get frozen and only can withdraw after death.

I am wondering what I will get next year as a small servant of a tawkey. Whatever they are, I will toil even harder. This is Negaraku, with same shape of people’s mentality, attitudes and behaviors.

Ugly Malaysia 55th National Day Theme

1 Malaysia :- Janji Detepati.

What Janji?

What a Horrible Song!!

1. Look/browse to youtube.com and search for this year national day theme song. You might be having your nightmare. It is something to laugh at other than 3 stooges, Rowan Akinson, or others funny commercial advertisement. The national theme song has the most disliked hits!!

2. What is a rhetoric theme!! Shouldn’t we have other better theme rather than “Janji Ditepati”? What is the patriotism value in the theme song’s lyric and the theme itself?

3. Why the government didn’t look deeply on the theme? Is Najib could be the messenger or the new coming prophet for Malaysia? We are now forced to worship our leader like the DPRK people worship their dear leader Kim Jong Ill.

4. The Malaysian government is not made by the expert but a bunch or politicians who bought their degree certificate. Some are graduated from “Imperial College” without attending any lecture, tutorial and exam paper. That is why we have the bunch of “stupid” people in the government/parliament. They only know how to oppose good idea but never deliver their best for the people.

5. What is Janji Detepati? RM500.00 financial assistance? The rakyat deserve more better thing such as talent development, good infrastructures, good education system and fair and transparent tender system. No direct award and cronyism.

6. This year will be a great dark day for the people to celebrate National Day. I prefer to go back home and watch Tom & Jerry show with the kid. Or have something to barbeque and have a great dinner.

7. Let BN celebrate the National Day alone on the street with “Janji Ditepati” stuff. All government offices and schools should erect BN flag only and no Jalur Gemilang.

8. What a sad nation of Malaysia. The people are driven away from patriotism and directed to some kind of cult teaching.

Open Source Software

Free Yet Ignored.

1. Selamat Ari Gawai.Anyway, have a quality time with family and friends. Jimat-Jimat driving nuju menua. Nti mabuk anang ngiga ulah. Nti ngabang, nemu mah mai diri.

2.  I've been thinking a lot why do we tend to ignore something free and getting thing illegitimately. I mean software. How do we feel if someone steal our car, break into our home or steal fruit form our farm? I think Bro. Bill has that bad feeling as well as Microsoft Inc is facing a great challenge with "Software Piracy". I think he want to be the world's richest but could not overcome Telco man, Carlos Slim. Why? because people get Microsoft software for cheap from pirates.

3. Open Source Initiative was a great idea on how to reduce software piracy and at the same time keeps Bro. Bill on second place of world's billionaire. That's another story. In, fact Microsoft had a bad time with Open Source Software. Somehow, due to their innovation and marketing strategy Microsoft is still world's best software company. The American, have adopt open source to their country to reduce their reliance on Microsoft software since 1983. This innovation has reduce the piracy problem in the US and at the same time protect Microsoft from loosing money to the pirate.

4. I think that government should introduce open source software to every department. The government can safe a lot of money because open source software is FREE. The corporate sectors should start now or pay more for software. I am wonder why Ta Aan group said that Sarawak is not ready for minimum wages. Because of operation cost la..or that want to keep a lot of money for the Board of Directors? I believe that ts is the time for the corporations to invest on human capital and innovation. Get free software and used them and pay the employee a good salary. Win-win situation.

5. I've present my proposal to Borneo Post today on the Open Source Software and they were quite impress with that.  I don't know if my proposal are accepted and approve for the project but I hope that they will look into it thoroughly and think of it. Our government always talk about innovation. Last Teachers day theme's was "Innovative teacher projects national education transformation" and Najib keep on talking about transformation and innovation. I could not understand what does he mean with those? How much is the cost of Transformation? Can Malaysia be an innovative nation with the GTP (Government transformation Program) and ETP (Economic Transformation Program). Can we achieve high income country in 2020 with less brain and innovation? Where are the talented Malaysian professionals work? In the country or oversea? How many oversea graduate return home to work? How many Malaysian migrated overseas? Najib has to mobilize his government to be decent and think out of the box. I think political party is not the answer to the good governance and prosperous country. The economic power is the must do to fight crimes, corruption and power-abuse.

What am I talking about now? Let get back to the real topic.

6. The cost of technology is rising up tremendously and it is proven that IT business is the second largest and even 2 of them are in top 10 list (Oracle and Microsoft). They benefited a lot. A friend of mine said that the best prospect business are Telecommunications, Technology and MLM.

7. Some might ask; why Oracle gave free software and not Microsoft? The answer is Microsoft pay a lot of money to develop software but open source software are develop by internet community and Oracle gives it for free. Yet, Oracle give free software to the public and allow public to distribute those software. Are those open source software reliable? Yes! Of course. Air Asia uses Tomcat for their Web Server and they are the whorls' fastest growing air carrier. Some more, LOW-COST. Air Asia help the travelers save their money by adopting full innovation in their organization. Have MAS ever thinks out of the box like Mr. Fernandes? No. that's why MAS keep on losing revenue and always rely on government to bail them.

8. We cannot deny that one day we have to pay more for information technology if the refuse to seek alternative and invest on innovation. I believe that western countries have more ethic value in term of software piracy because they are innovative enough. In here, we do not border much because we are not the producer of those software and it doesn't affect us at all. Somehow, ignorance will lead us into offences and crimes because we are lazy to think out of the box.

Jihad dan Haram

Article published in Bahasa Malaysia Only

Fear

Hiding in Silence!!

1. When I was a young boy, I fear of big man, dog and deep water. I will hide and keep quiet  if there some big man across. I would divert my pathway if there is a dog in front. I would take shower at home rather than following my friend to go to waterfall and swim.

2. When I become older and older, I am no more fear of those three major fears in my life. I start to be good with dogs, dive into 30ft deep water. I am no more scare of big fat man (Goliath). It has gone with time and my age.

3. Many of the Bidayuh fear of many things. Some fear of bad spirit and still practice polytheistic, paganism and other superstitious. Long time ago, the whole village will curfew during "head hunter season" and children are accompany by their parent on the way to boarding school. We used to fear of owl because it brings bad sign to the village.

4. In this new era with strong religion belief and practices, the Bidayuh are free from all those fears. There is no more head hunting in the village. The owl is just a night bird and not to scare of.

5. Nevertheless, there are great fear that the Bidayuh could not fight. They rather silent themselves to keep save. They fear of marginalization, suppression and negation.

6. The second class fear of daily survival challenge; merely forget the main purpose for the next generation. Less could work hard and safe money for their children education; at least to the local university. They prefer ignore and escape from the greatest burden for whole life change. Education is the only answer of poverty, marginalization, ignorance and deprivation. Some have lost hope and motivation and only provide a moderate education; until SPM or STPM.

7. The youngsters blind themselves from brighter future. They are dis-motivated, lazy and some are rebellious. In every village, there a pack of youngsters sitting on motorbike at the roadside. Some enjoining themselves with a bottle of "langkau" (rice liqueur) and get back home for long sleep until the afternoon. By the time their parent are working hard at the paddy fields, construction sites and estates, they are still sleeping and waiting for unprepared lunch at home. Some hanging on the "holo" table hoping for victory to  buy a bottle of liqueur and cigarette. They rather hide form the real world and be the same typical kampung boy.

8. The elites, survive by their current position in politic, business and social relationship. They are live by abundant and comfortable living. Some are politicians, business person and professionals. The greatest politicians are those who could secure themselves in the greatest political party. They are untouchable, powerful and rich. Certain time, they look back at the village and observe those who toil until the last drop of sweat. The the election time comes, the politicians will give more paddy fertilizer hoping that the paddy production will increase.

9. The Bidayuh have never been teach to an entrepreneur. There is no imitative provided for the Bidayuh to be an entrepreneur. If there are; they are grass-cutter, cleaner and small construction work.

10. The association is now close its membership to the typical Bidayuh. They only interested in elite group who could donate more money and could afford for the annual fee. It seems the association has stop giving study aid to poor students. The new building has completed but empty. The Bidayuh could not pack the meeting hall because someone might ask for study aid and the association will close down due to lack of fund. To make it survive, the association is kept among the elites to perverse the interest of its members and reputation.

Borneo Highland Resorts

Golf courses on top,  paddy fields below .

1. Borneo Highland Resort was developed in the 1995-1999 by Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew, friend of Tun Mahathir. The resort is located at 1°14’41.4”N 110°17617’28.39”E.

2. If you go up to the resorts, there are first class golf courses, flower gardens, massage parlous and beautiful houses and one of them belongs to Tun Mahathir.

3. I've worked in there in 1996 as a gardener during school holiday. I collected small stone from the golf courses and cutting grass. During that time, the wage was RM10.00 per day. I managed to get RM 60 for my 1 week holiday part-time. I stayed in a small lodging house;- a temporary shelter (pankeng). It was very cold at night and I used a thick blanket to sleep.

4. Now, the resort is well managed and receiving tourist everyday. I still have some friends who are working there as gardeners, general workers and "massager". Now they can get RM 25.00 per day and some are paid monthly wage with E.P.F and SOCSO contribution.

5. What make me curious about the resorts is that the mountain top was suddenly declared as state land and the state government sold it to Borneo Height Berhad. There is not compensation given to the surrounding villages which claimed that the resort is build on the NCR land. They are, Annah Rais, Tebia, Sadir and other villages who used to plant paddy at the mountain foot.

6. Nevertheless, there are some ugly picture below the beautiful resort. There are still hardcore poor living below. Along the Jalan Puncak Borneo, there are still bamboo houses which are not relevance with the development of the resort. The local people who works there are cheap labor who worked very hard to feed their families.

7. The mountain are surrounded by paddy fields. At the south-east they are belong to the Kalimantan aborigines and at the west side are belong to the local people. Whenever the tourist or visitors enjoying themselves on the land that they never know about its story, the people below are toiling hard everyday. Who cares on the story of the resort if you have money to spend on the resort?

8. I hope that the politicians could do something to compensate the NCR land and reimburse the local dwellers' lost form the resort. Otherwise, the resort will only keeping a hatred and dispute among the local who are affected by the government.

Rumah Dayak

It’s More Than an Abandoned House.

Rumah Dayak project: picture by Mysarawak.org

1. Rumah Dayak was located at Jalan Satok as a greatest symbol of Dayak unity long time ago.

2. Somehow, the old building was demolished and new construction started in 1997 hoping that the new building will brings hopes and inspirations to the united Dayak.

3. The construction works for the new Rumah Dayak could not complete due to critical issue with the building plan that is not approved by the local government. According to SNDU, Rumah Dayak project halted due to intervention by others which hindered the construction works.

4. As everybody is pointing fingers to each other (SNDU as Client with developer to be unknown) the project could not continue and the Rumah Dayak is still a bad image of engineering’s picture in the heart of Kuching town. There is no news on the Rumah Dayak fate as it seems to be the hardest mega construction after Bakun Hydroelectric Dam and KLCC towers. Maybe the soiled beneath is not stable or there is no solid and strong steel can erect every level of the building.

5. I could not understand why Rumah Dayak project could not complete. There are great engineers and architect that can build great buildings. There are financial institutions that can provide loan for the project. What is so hard to build Rumah Dayak?

6. This could be the problem with the Dayak themselves. They could not work as a community to look after their own problem. I think it is not about the engineering difficulties that make the project halted. And not because of building material for sure.

7. Unity among the Dayak is a taboo among themselves. They quiet don’t know what the best is for the community. They are scattered away by their own ego and stupidity. Everybody is looking for better ground to live and let the others survive the quicksand.

8. Dayak once united and exited by SNAP and PBDS but both dead immature. UMNO and BN scared by the Dayak spirit and let them scattered away and ruled by their associates. BN managed to tame the loincloths hero by offering them Levi’s Strauss jeans pants. Federal associate managed to starve the hero and take the shield and give him umbrella to protect him from enemy and not save him from starvation.

9. And so it happened to Rumah Dayak, as not even a Dayak YB could look into this matter as a shame to the Dayak and initiate something to restore the dignity that standing still in rust. That is the reality of the Dayak identity; a rusty rods. Every Dayak could not look at Rumah Dayak as their failure. As the blame game is still in a row, the Dayak have missed their opportunity to be the best in Sarawak through SNDU by completing the abandoned house.

10. We could not blame it on the politicians as Rumah Dayak is not their aspiration but inspiration for all. Dayak should be independent as they are the most clan in Sarawak. While the Foochows is building their Foochow Association in each district, Rumah Dayak is still dispute on who should complete the task. When the other are progressing, the Dayak is still waiting for miracle by drinking rice wine with grilled pighead.

11. A loincloth is still a loincloth as it is an identity. But we cannot use it in the office today because it is not proper in front of female workers. We still can use it at longhouse if we love it. If the Dayak could not afford for bricks and steel, let the Rumah Dayak be build with the Barkcloth, bamboo and hardwoods.

12. They should forget of beheading their friend’s head but make friend with the world and change. The Dayak must ashamed of their past and build the new hope for the community so that people know that the Dayak are not timid but wise, educated and independent community.

13. After all, what changed them is not their surrounding and nature but their effort to change the whole world. Some fallen and some hanging on the life line. They will never realize until they fall into the dark valley as some of them already did.

Painful Partnership.

Accidentally Colonized.

1. When Sarawak has agreed to “join” Federation of Malaysia in 1963 together with Singapore and Sabah, it was a better hope for the Sarawakian.

2. After the WWII, British was burdened by it colonies and releasing each one after another comprising of it colony in African Continent and Asia. Malaya was released in 1957 when the queen has agreed for Malaya independent.

3. Somehow, Sarawak and Sabah is still under colony together with Singapore. Both Sabah and Sarawak (Borneo) were still struggle with Communist insurgency as the communist ideology was spreading greatly to the South East Asia.  Winston Churchil was very worry and could not afford to lose the British Colonies into communist. Therefore, he thought that Sabah and Sarawak must be free from communism before it granted with independent.

4. During that time, Sabah was claimed by Philippine and Sarawak was on the spot of Sukarno, the Indonesian communist. Indonesia declared confrontation to the federation of Malaysia in 1962-1966. Then Sarawak needs an army in order to be saved. That is why Sarawak needs to join the Federation in September 16, 1963.

5. Nevertheless, there are ups and downs during this long period of “partnership” with the Malaya. The two lands are divided by South China Sea and people hardly meet to talk and discuss the issue of the State.

6. Malaya believes in special right and supremacy of the Malay in peninsular. Then, the laws were made to protect the Malay and “bumiputera” was focusing on Malay in peninsular and keeps aside the needs and right of the bumiputera in Sabah in Sarawak. As Lee Kuan Yew (former PM of Singapore) truly believe in equality for all and liberalism, Singapore was expelled from Federation in 1965 when the small island is struggling with worst racial riot and clash.

7. Sarawak and Sabah remained in the Federation as the state needs protection and better government. Somehow, the Malaya needs to tighten it “partnership” by planting Malay idealism to Sabah and Sarawak. Sabah was so fragile when UMNO was step in and after the 6 June 1976 tragedy that killed Donald Stephen and other ministers at Sembulan air crash.

8. While Sarawak resisted UMNO, there are terms and conditions that allow Malay idealism to be incurred. The Dayak must be governed by the Malay. There are several occasions that lead to the downfall of the Dayak under the Malaya plan. First was the vote of no confident to the Dayak CM, Stephen Kalong Ningkan by Taib and the Malay which was granted by Tunku Abdul Rahman. Two, the de-registration of PBDS and Ming Court affair that gave advantages to Taib and his companion in Malaya (Mahathir). Now, PBB was under the Malay dominance although the Melanau Malay is the minority in the State.

9. However, there is no way to escape from the painful federation as the people are weakened by greed, money and titles. Even the most powerful Dayak can be bought for RM 50,000.00. Why should they thing of the people when there are government to take care of the Dayak?

10. The lost is not at the politicians who believe in corrupted government but at the side of the people who work and support the government policies. The people pay taxes but have faces inflation and the government is ignoring it.  Who to blame? Since our ancestor has agreed to Lord Cobbold, then we should endure to hardship and bitterness.

Taboo

Dayak lows cultures, skepticism and fears.

1.    The idea of multiracial started in SNAP when Kalong Ningkan (former CM) agreed to open membership for Chinese (late James Wong). The party resounding victory during state 1st election was the beginning of Dayakism (according to Joseph Tawie; The Broken Shield). When James Wong joined the party he played a critical role as the financer. He believes that SNAP should be multi-racial and therefore there is no “racial” issue in the party policy.

2.    Somehow, the Dayak (Daniel Tajem and his gangs) felt that SNAP should speak for Dayak’s course which was contradicted to the James Wong inspiration to have a multi-racial party. Then, SNAP split into two groups (Wong’s clan with Ningkan support and Daniel + Moggie clan). Soon before the 1983 General Election PBDS was born as the result of SNAP refusal to speak for the Dayak and PBB rejection on Daniel Tajem and gang desire to join PBB.  Then SNAP cracked again and gave birth to SPDP. When PBDS struggle with “internal” crisis (Tajem and Masing whack each other), it gave birth to PRS.

3.    The Dayakism spirit has never ended. In fact, the Dayak have fought the toughest battle to get in line in the political, economic and social development in Malaysia. The spirit “agi idup agi ngelaban” is flowing in every single Dayak bloodstream. Some Dayak have gained their fruit from their hard works and determination. Some are great businessman, ministers, CEO’s and professional.

4.    Nevertheless, there are still many of the Dayak are marginalized, left-behind and living under the poverty line. Some are desperate to escape from poverty, illiteracy and poor health care. Those who could not get enough for big family choose to migrate out of the state for better living and wage.  They sent money back home to support the family and young generation to get the minimal live standard at the villages.

5.    The Dayak are known as a diligent, obedient and wise tribe although they are pretty much un-predictable. That is why Sarawak has never fall into opposition party since its independent within Malaysia Federation. Their “high integrity” somehow has dragged them into low-culture; where other people are easily taking advantage form their obedient. Although Dayak population is the largest in Borneo, they could not be a Chief Minister, Gabenor after their ignorance was crucified by Ming Court Affair, SNAP crisis, PBDS power overloaded and so forth. In many worst scenarios, the Dayak are immigrant in their own homeland and could not harvest form their ancestors’ abundant land.

6.    Obedient is good but ignorance is evil. The Dayak obedient are driven by their belief in Paganism. Before the coming of Christian missionary, all the Dayak are Pagan.  They believe in low-culture; don’t go to work the paddy field within 1 week after ghost ceremony (Gawai Antu), don’t explore thick jungle as there is “Tayam or Mindo” as you might get possessed and die.  All the superstitious have made them to be obedient and fear to improve themselves. They fear of bad spirit to posses them if they cultivate their paddy field soon after the “Gawai Antu”. But within one week the weeds grow higher than the paddy. At the harvest season, the will harvest less and could run out of rice before the next cultivation season. So, they get malnutrition and rely on alternative resources; tapioca, sago, maize and forest resources.

7.    In these days, Dayaks are still living under low culture and fear.  They must not oppose the government and re-elect the illiterate representative to be their leader. Eg;Tajem was expelled by Wong because Tajem want some of the SNAP members (especially the Dayak) to stop rooster-fighting, clubbing and drinking as Endawie always did. But the old-folks (Ningkan, Endawie) must not be challenge because they are elder with the ultimate right as “orang tuai” although they are stupid and ignorance. The youngsters must not challenge any decision made by the “orang tuai” although the decision is to burn down the whole long house.  So now, the Dayak contributed 50% of parliament seat to BN including the “Senator” who defeated badly during election; not including Kadazan-Dusun’s votes. And what do they (Dayak) get in return? You ask them in Sarawak, Johore and Kuala Lumpur. Why the Dayak cannot lead the state government? Because they cannot get more seat than PBB. They cannot unite because it is a taboo to be a united Dayak. It is proven since the SNAP era, to PBDS and now the “Melting Shield” era. Joseph Tawie should release the new publication of his book “The Diluted Shield; - The Death of Dayakism”. Can they beat PBB? Yes. By unite them and stops believe in low-cultures and cock-fighting. Is that possible? Yes. Unless there all the “orang tuai” die and the young generation open their eyes to the real world and reject “Pagan Politic”.

8.    Somehow, all those will be a great fear to them. If they united and oppose the corrupted government, they will be crippled by rule of law which forbid Racial motivation and might be arrested under emergency law. Well, in Peninsular there are homogeneous party; UMNO, MCA and MIC. In fact, there are more verbal in harping the racial issue especially racial-supremacy and special right. When one seems to be merely liberal, then there a pop-ups “NGO” to hailer the racial sentiment and they never get caught and warn by the authority. Furthermore, they are legal terrorist. Why the Dayak should fear racial issue since they are not head hunters anymore? The real racist is UMNO who introduced multi-racial party. The Malay supremacy is not valid and Sarawak and so Malay Language. How do they feel now when they are minority in BN component parties? And what amazed me the most is that they quit the party and retain their power though backbenchers and clubs. Now, which jungle have they gone to until they get posses and fell sick; then cannot judge what is wise and stupid? Why separate when the tribe is already broken into tiny pieces.

9.    The greatest fear will be money and corruption. We have learned a lot from Dayaks who are greedy. [“Someone told me; greedy is good. And the government made it legal” Micheal Douglas; - Wallstreet.Money Never Sleep.]  That made PBDS broke into pieces after the Ming Court Scandal. The frog jumping happily when money bag arrived. Those who refused the offer are left behind and the parties he led get de-registered.  All the loyalists have joined other party. Some are bought RM 13mil, RM 2 mil and some are offered with whole night sex. The Dayak leaders are easily get delusion when money speaks together with lubricated vagina. That is heaven to those who do not have integrity.

10.    Unless the Dayak realize that they have given more than what they receive, they might get up. I don’t know how and when but someday, not too soon perhaps because the world could not change their mentality unless they learn from their ancestors’ mistake and never get fool again.

Money, Money, Money!!

And Here its goes again.

1.    It is the first time in Malaysia history that government gives a lot of money to the people. People are given RM500.00 in cash, student get RM200.00 book voucher and school children got RM100.00 before 2012 school session begin. Money is dropping from the sky like monsoon rain. People are very happy and they have never been this happy since BN ruled the country for 5 decades.

2.    The people should thank BN for the “incentives and aid”. BN has always put people’s agenda in their party’s course. It is not a political motivation to help the helpless and hopeless. If BN win the next General Election, they should give more to the people. Not RM500.00 but maybe double.

3.    Our economy is gowning steadily. Our gross domestic product (GDP) recorded the highest in Asia. The government can give anything at anytime. No worry. There are damn much money.

4.    Should we think about it? Where’s the money come from? Our GDP could not overcome our dept.  We hired many foreigners to build houses, cleaning streets, plucking palm oil and they send money back home.

5.    “It’s not about the money” said Jessy J feat B.O.B. The truth is that money is not everything when everything is money. There is more grater thing that government put into priority. They should consider better pay for teachers, nurses and police. They work more than other departments. Improving public transport in Sabah and Sarawak should be the agenda to “economies the people”. Pay high wages to MACC and enforcement to reduce corruption. Dismiss racial based wealth distribution and uphold merit system to harvest the best product of Malaysian. What is the point to give a lot of money to raise-up the lazy and underclass when time is running out?

6.    Yes. We need to help the needy and hopeless. It is everybody’s agenda in this planet. In fact, we are thought to help and care for those who are needed. UN has UNICEF to take care for the children and Malaysia has KEMAS to provide early education for children.  World is always a better place for the needy. They don’t have to think and work much. Helps are always there for them.

7.    We are short of medical doctors, engineers, computer specialist and the most critical; inventors. The seasoning policy on education has put back Malaysia into the plastic tank and restarts the climbing on the slippery surface. While our neighbors are stressing English language to be used in Mathematics and Science, we are looking for best reason to reverse the truth for the sake of one race civilization.

8.    We should envy Singapore’s education system.  They speak mandarin at home but in school they speak English language. The Malays should ask how racist Lee Kuan Yew’s was when he is a PM. The underclass should compete with the Chinese to be the best of Singaporean. The Malays have opened their eyes on how important it is to have a good education. They are no more underclass but stand tall among the multi-racial Singapore.

9.    In Malaysia, we never like to look further. As long as there is money, we should vote for that party. Regardless their political agenda and policies. Money always first and future will be second issue. Nevertheless, why should we reject the offer? We have lost our taxes contribution to the government and now are the time to get some rebate. Otherwise, all the damn tone of money will be spent on “phantom project” and illegal money laundering.

Riddle of the Jokes

Masai Vs. Beringin

I love to watch P.Ramlee movie’s called Nujum Pak Belalang (Pak Belalang the Astrologer). There is one scene where Udo Umar acts as   Masai’s astrologer and P.Ramlee acts as (Beringin Rendang ‘s astrologer). The two sultan of the state have agreed to challenge their astrologer wisdom by riddle contest. Somehow, I manipulate the original content of the riddle (Marriage to Corruption). Here is how the scene goes like:

Udo Umar asked P.Ramlee,
What is the meaning of this:
1 - A lot (many-many)
2 - A little (little-little)
3 - Rarely (rare-rare)
4 - Seldom (seldom-seldom)
What is that mean?

P. Ramlee answers:
Corruption!!

1 – a lot (many-many)
Meaning: - In Malaysia there are many people involved in corruption. They are cops at the roadside, Customs officer, Immigration officer, school headmaster, contractors and even a school boy offer bribe.

2 – A little (little-little)
Meaning: - In Malaysia there a little case of corruption that is done by a couple or a partner. Although it happens, the couple will strongly deny and bring the public who know their deeds to court of justice.

3 – Rarely (rare-rare)
Meaning: - In Malaysia, a group of tree are rarely involve in corruption. Although there are ministries, department and state department are involved, the only scapegoat is someone at one level. For example, in NFC graft case, only one guy get caught but not 3 which comprises of Minister of Agriculture, Ministry of Finance and NFC's CEO who convicted together. Somehow, those three know about how RM250 mil was spent to dry and one guy get knock down.

4 – Seldom (seldom-seldom)
Meaning: - In Malaysia, we seldom heard of a family group involve in graft and corruption. In only happened in Sarawak Chief Minister household.

When The Rooster Crows

Time Never Forget

1.    The SPDP saga reminded me on what was happening in SNAP few years ago. SNAP was tearing down to the ground by those who is/was in SPDP today. They formed SPDP when PBDS failed.

2.    This is what politic all about. They come, they eat, and they go. Repeated over and over again. When the nest is built, a group of termites will left the colony and builds another nest. It’s doesn’t matter either the new nest is firm or not as long as there is food to collect.

3.    It’s happened again in SPDP. Without those 5 elected member, SPDP is now a weak and smallest entity in BN. It will be a tough road waiting ahead. They have to work very hard to retain their 5 seats which are now under the defectors. By hook or by crook, SPDP must retain the seats in order to maintain their partnership with BN.

4.    Nevertheless, that is not the main issue for SPDP. The real issue is that, what is the Dayak’s perception on the ended SPDP’s saga. Defectors are not only happened in SPDP but almost all political party. In fact, it is a norm in political arena that someone gets tired and left the party.

5.    I asked few friends about what is happening and they said they did not know what is really happening in SPDP. I believe in God’s punishment and some believe in both God’s punishment and karma. What happened to the 5 defectors is karma of what they have done to SNAP before.

6.    To me, it is not karma but a matter of someone behavior, attitude and integrity. There is nothing eternity in politic. In fact, politic institution is the most fragile institution on earth. It is well proven by the history. Look at Rome, Ottoman, Nazi and others who collapsed. What make them re-known is not by their existence but by the artifact and storytelling of history.

7.    It is the same thing with Dayak Politic. They were strong with SNAP and SUPP. Then, they tear them down and formed PBDS (Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak). Then they formed SPDP and PRS. SPDP’s dark future might get the party to be de-registered or abandon by its members. Then what next? Mawan resign and be a GLC ceo? Maybe DRB-Hicom, CMS? Or SPNB? It might happen.

8.    The Dayak has lost a lot from their representatives. They are hoping for better future but yet their representatives put aside the people agenda and strive for personal gain. Why used BN symbol during election if they cannot be an example to the Dayak? Why talk a lot when you are shaking? Doesn’t it show how idiot they are?

9.    They Dayak are tired of being disappointed and deceived. Don’t stand for them if you are shaking and behave irrational. The people will judge and mock you. Then, karma willcome and take you down.

10.    The Dayak must learn decently from this saga. There is no such “what is his/her contribution to the society” as what Dawos always say. What matter the most is the bright future. Scavenging will never end if the Dayak deny their struggle and ignorance.  I always walk pass by BDC dump site and other sites. The Dayak are scavenging for food, cloth, bottles and cans. All the while, who cares? Does the SPDP 5 care? No. They are now putting the price tag and those who pass by will buy them. Not PKR or STAR. Might be SUPP since they have vacancy that Wong’s clan doesn’t want.

11.    What the SPDP 5 did will never ends if they join other party. They join, they grab and they “quit”. Only money can sustain those with “special” attitude. Integrity and morality in politic is not a big deal because other people is doing the same as well. In fact, those who always defect are wealthier than those who stick with one party. But, the time will never forget this kind of people. Time tells the truth although it his hidden.

Islamic Nations

Too hard to be true.

1. The whole Islamic countries condemn Israel for “murdering” the Muslims in Palestine. The Jews are called “Ruthless Zionist” and some of the Islamic leaders accuse USA for being their allied to wipe out the Muslim at West Bank.

2. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad have made a statement that Iran is capable to erase Israel from the world map with only one blast. What made Iran a strong Islamic country today is not by their good relationship with others but the president’s arrogant in showing his nuclear weapon power.

3. Pakistan is now has to review its relationship with US after Osama Bin Laden death near it border and the Chinook attack on the US troops. Benazir Bhutto and her husband were accused of being too pro-American. She was slain and now Taliban is asking to be part of the government.

4. What is happening in Syria could not be ignored by the Islamic nations and they should do something to stop a Muslim man shooting his citizens.  Bashar Al- Assad must be brought to justice for the sake of the Muslims safety and liberty. Arab League is a week body to take care of the problem as they could solve any problem with people revolution.  Foreign media and terrorist are to blame in any death tragedy of the people.

5. Where is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad now when Syria need help? He who was acting like Muslim hero during UN submit last year and made a bitter speech to the delegations. Where are the so called “influential” Islamic leaders when Syrians are gunned down by the “terrorist”. The whole world will have to blame US for not taken care of terrorist who kills the people of Syria, Egypt and Libya. Why does OIC being so silent while the people are dying. Is that Only Arab League should restores peace in Arab Countries? No. Every single Islam Country must make a stand to save their people.

6. That is the problem with the Islamic countries. They are thought to obey Allah and safe their brothers and sisters from threat. Infidels die to save the religion values. Somehow, they cannot advice their allies to stop killing. They like to point fingers to others but refuse to co-operate among themselves to save the Islam civilization. When one leader tortures the citizens the others made themselves busy and pretend nothing happen. When thing get worse, the blame game will always on foreign media and terrorist.

7. What happens in Syria is an ugly picture of Islam. They like to mock on Israel, Jews, Christians and USA but could not save themselves for their ruthless statesman. They do not have to wake up and save Syria from civil war because what is happening will not affect the rest of the Islamic countries. After all, Islam is always greater then other religion.

Intelligent

The Hard Truth of AUKU.

1.UPSI students were blame for organizing illegal assembly last week and the person who brought down the portrait of PM is now facing tremendous charges and humiliation.

2.The government (BN) has put total blame to opposition alliance and accused them for influencing the UPSI student to organize illegal assembly.

3.I believe that the group of student has applied for the gathering permit but as usual, the assembly bill was abolished. That’s mean, freedom of gathering is permitted.

4.It is well said that those student should negotiate with the government on AUKU issue and bring forward their idea and opinions on how AUKU should be used. As student, they must address their suggestion and opinions in intelligent manner. Then, there will be a win-win situation.

5.Is there freedom of speech in Malaysia?  Not for the intelligent but freedom of defamation by the idiots in the house of parliament and political party assembly. The voice of the intelligent are ignored because the intelligent speak about rule of law, social justice, nation building, religion and racial harmony. The government did not allow the intelligent idea and opinions because they might get caught in naked. The intelligent speaks about economic growth but the idiot’s only talk about subsidy, special rights, supremacy and racial dominance.

6.The students are not allowed to participate in politics because they are ignorance and young.  They might disrupt chaos and stir up the peace and harmony in the country. In China, Tiananmen Square Tragedy 1989 happened not because of the laws that forbid the youngster to voice up their idea. It happened because there was a need for political liberation.  Somehow, it turned to massacre because the communist regime refused to open a door for negotiation.

7.AUKU was made not to let Tiananmen Massacre to happen in Malaysia but to maintain the political power of BN and UMNO. When the student get older, their focus will get divert to career and family. In that time, the intelligent remains but not their young spirits. When their spirit become slow, the government will take advantage on them. That is why we have Putera UMNO and Club Mat Rempit UMNO.

8.By right, the students should be nurtured by truth and wisdom and not by the system that is outdated.  Yes, law and order is a must, but freedom must not be compromised as they are intelligent. They don't take bribe and misused their right as student. That's make them intelligent. As they are getting more intelligent, the government must behave so that the student can learn form a good example. Arguing a non-sense issue in parliament and humiliating other YB’s is not a good example of a leaders for the people. That will only show their level of intelligent and wisdom on the debated issue. Why talk ass-hole when there are proper words that can be used. Is that called intelligent?

9.We cannot stop liberation to happen. In fact, the whole peace of world is liberated every day. Last year, it started with Tunisia. It is proven that liberation is not illegal but a must to have good governance and established politic practices. If AUKU is a burden, abolished it. It will not affect the political power but it will liberate the country from tyranny, iron-fist, corruption and bad governance. Look at our GFI, it is not improving but worsen for 3 years continuously.  Is that the sign of how intelligent our government is? It is the sign of how cunning they are when it comes to spending the tax-payers money.
