You still owe RM30K study loan kah? Heh! Me...What?! You still owe RM30K study loan kah? Heh! Me, too! But then, the balance amount is small lah.

I have no regret for being one of those Bidayuh graduates who can achieve the 2nd highest level of education, and I obtained it the hard way! Last time, I do feel cheated for being a graduate due to the unemployment opportunities. I have been applied for PTD thrice (including various gomen posts) but to no avail lah! Some people asked me on why I don’t get recommendation from YB this and that. In fact, I did, but then, until now there’s no such effort from those VERY IMPORTANT PERSONS. Nowadays, most employers do not subscribe to the so-called “recommendation” policy, as it is now outdated.

Anyway, I do feel proud with my own efforts/initiatives, as now I have secured a managerial job with a local Foochow company. My Foochow boss is an educated guy (unlike those money-making minded Foochow businessmen), so I have learned a lot from him. My objective for now is to gain more working experience before I could “sell” myself lah!

So, whenever you are home, do encourage your kampong youth to strive for a better livelihood, including your school-going kampong mates. That’s the only way out to improve ourselves. At my work place, I saw that the locals here – young and old – don’t care much about education. But then, I do understand as they live in remote area, and they don’t even have role models among them. That’s why, I’m quite vocal in my views and always shoot at long range at those MAKAN TIDOR ONLY Bidayuh YBs – to put more efforts in helping our young generation!

Well, feel free to email me at jackson.mangan@gmail.comJackson Manganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07846597768295282436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1497105117555093389.post-85153970086557013742008-02-29T13:03:00.000+08:002008-02-29T13:03:00.000+08:00Syabas TBS.Should you have the privillege, would y...Syabas TBS.
Should you have the privillege, would you not assist your own folks? You would no doubt.
Who is to be blamed then? Who vote the Malays to power? It has always been us, Dayaks. We support them; we vote them to power, to DENY us of our rights.
We have to vote ourselves to power to get back those rights.
Vote Patau, Majen, Belayong for now. Other areas, vote non-BN.
Regards.

SwisserikinUnited States Of All-Borneohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11104780326148463923noreply@blogger.com
